The stage was set, the entire team was ready and eagerly awaiting the excitement to unfold. The 2024 Annual Sports Gala, held at The Stream Side Park Buwate on 5th December 2024, brought together the entire team of Guoji Group Co. (U) Ltd for an unforgettable celebration of the team achievements, team work and sportsmanship. From record-breaking performances to heartwarming displays of camaraderie, the event showcased the incredible talents and spirit of each member of the team. As the day unfolded, it became clear that this was not just a competition, it was a powerful reminder of the unity and love we share as a team.
From the moment the first event began, it was clear this would be a day to remember. Team members of all ages competed in a variety of activities like the tug of war, egg race, sack race and football, showcasing their dedication and hard work. The highlight of the day came upon seeing each and every person involved in the different activities regardless of their position in the company or even nationality. Seeing every single person involved and happy was a very heartwarming moment because it is incredible to have fun, but what makes it even more special is sharing these moments with everyone.
Team spirit was the true essence of the evening, the crowd was greatly moved by the different performances. Andrew & Jonathan rocked the crowd with a beautiful song, guitars in hand then Bruce performed a Chinese song so perfectly, it stunned everyone on how he can actually pronounce the Chinese words. His performance was so heartwarming that it made all our Chinese colleagues emotional and smiling. Not forgetting, Mdm. Pheobe & Mdm. Elva, one of our Chinese colleagues also gave us a wonderful performance with beautiful voices that left everyone speechless. The entire audience erupted into applause after every performance making this a very beautiful moment for everyone.
The venue, beautifully filled with love, laughter and unity, set the stage for an unforgettable night. We gathered together in our respective teams for a photography moment with our M.D, Mdm. Windy, it was a memorable moment and the most interesting bit of it was that the Kigo team’s greatness was too much that it broke the stage. Attendees were treated to a mix of music as we dived into a mouthwatering delicacy and interacted with one another, listening to inspiring speeches during the awards ceremony. Local dignitaries took to the stage to recognize the outstanding colleagues for example, Gita, Linclon, Grace etc, celebrating their achievements with special tributes to those who left a lasting mark on the company. As the night drew to a close, drinks were served, the dance floor was opened and different colleagues were showcasing their dancing skills as others were showcasing their talents in karaoke and I can say the night was full of “good vibes.”
The message was clear: sports are about more than just winning, they are about team work, effort and power to inspire. We’re so proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team, and we can’t wait to see what 2025 brings. This was just the beginning of something bigger, and we are thrilled to be a part of this amazing company, Henan Guoji Industry Group Co. Ltd.
